Engineering Students Make Top 24 Under 24
Four UBC Engineering students were named to 24hrs’ “Top 24 Under 24″ list. Michael Peters was recognized for his work on “The Actuator”, a wheelchair adaption that prevents deep vein thromobis, Andrea Palmer for her leadership of the UBC Thunderbots autonomous soccer-playing robot team, Patrick Wong for his commitment to figure skating and leaderhship role as a skating coach to youth in his community, and Harshanvit Singh Chhatwal for creating a community within UBC for international students.
